(Canton, MI) – Whittney Williams, Republican candidate for Michigan’s 11thCongressional District, has officially signed the U.S. Term Limits Amendment Pledge. The pledge states:
I, Whittney Williams, pledge that as a member of Congress I will cosponsor and vote for the U.S. Term Limits Amendment of three (3) House terms and two (2) Senate terms and no longer limit.
Upon signing the pledge, Whittney Williams issued the following remarks:
“One of the biggest problems with politics today are career politicians. You know, the kind of people who make a living running for office, year in and year out, but get nothing done. Congress should be made up of people with real-world skills that will actually experience the impact of the policies they create. That’s why I’ve decided to sign the U.S Term Limits Pledge, which states that I will support a term limits amendment if elected. Three terms for the House and two terms for the Senate – then you’re done! I look forward to going to work for Michigan’s 11thDistrict, getting things done, and then coming back home to a real job.”
